Noble Trees of Ireland

Among our native trees growing in Ireland, according to the ancient Brehon Law in Gaelic Ireland, there were seven noble trees. These noble trees are the Hazel, Holly, Yew, Ash, Scots Pine and Apple.

Although it is a more common tree and therefore somewhat less important, Mary’s Wild Joys simply love the Birch tree and have slipped it into this list of beautiful native Irish trees.
